Every spring our organization hosts a large outdoor fundraising event on a remote ranch. We typically have around 900 guests and the event is held in a tent. There is no internet access at the site and lighting and power connections are limited.

I approached AuctionZoom because we were looking for an innovative way to approach the checkout process during our event. Checkout has been a major stumbling block for us due to the number of guests and the over 150 auction items available for bidding in the live and silent auctions.

AuctionZoom provided a workable and affordable solution for our dilemma. Their software did not require an internet connection and we were able to network several computers together. These capabilities allowed us to streamline our process for the benefit of both our guests and our volunteers.

In addition, by offering our guests the Express Pay option we were able to dramatically decrease the number of guests in line to check out at the end of the night. The results were amazing. People were happy and seemed more open to bidding on items as they know there wasn’t going to be a wait at the end of the night.
